DESCRIPTION:The North Carolina Community Health Worker Association (NCCHWA) invites you to join us on 5/15 from 9am-5pm at the state capitol in Raleigh for CHW Advocacy Day to educate our legislators about the CHW workforce and our impact on communities across NC. Join us to meet with your local representatives\, share your story\, and highlight the needs of your community.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nYour legislators need to hear from you\, their constituents! We’ll provide contact info and scripts for how to contact your legislator\, training on how to engage with your legislator the day of\, and other resources that you can use to engage in legislative advocacy. Your stories are important and need to be heard\, and we are here to support you in lifting them up! Sign up here to join us in advocating for CHWs across NC.
